Jesus intended his church to be about changing the world. He used analogies like salt and light and He talked about us being in the world, but not of it. We can't change the world, if we are not involved in the lives of those around us. And we can't convince people to change, if we are just like they are.
1. Making the Case - Jesus intended for us to be change agents in the world.
2. He wanted us to be change agents as individuals.
3. He wanted us to be change agents corporately.
4. What would a church of change agents look like? What would it do?
My third book will be a sequel to "A Call to Arms: Out of the Pews and Into the Streets." I used material from it at a series of lectures in Port au Prince Haiti in April 2009. My hope is to have "Changing the World on the market by Spring 2010. Look for it. In the mean time, if you haven't already done so, read "Out of the Pews."
