David May

David May recently retired from a career in Public Administration, specializing in programs for abused and neglected children. He has a Master's in Social Welfare and a Bachelor's in Education. David lectures regularly for church leaders in Haiti and for Christians in the United States. He was a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and served as a Platoon Commander in Viet Nam. His goal is to encourage church to "lift up its eyes," to look outside itself and to engage in solving hunger and illness in the world.

David lectures in Haiti three times a year.  He is in charge of outreach for his local church and is a Character Development Instructor for the local Civil Air Patrol Squadron.  He contributes to a blog, "Dead to My Flesh," and he is working on his third book.

David and his wife, Charlene, are still raising a teenager in a suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota
